Alter Zoll
- Former customs house that was originally a fort in the 16th and 17th centuries
- Handed over according to the Treaty of Utrecht, which put an end to the Spanish War of Succession in 1713.
- Considered the best viewpoint in the area with spectacular views of the Siebengebirge Mountains and the surrounding countryside.

- Remember to check out the Ernst Moritz Arndt Memorial that holds exhibitions and has collections of antiques and porcelain.

La Redoute
- This house was commissioned by Max Franz, the youngest son of Empress Maria Theresia, to serve Bonn’s courtly society as a place for dance and games.
- One of the last structures to be built in the electoral times resulting in a classical structure
- Particularly thrilling for classical music enthusiasts since a young Beethoven played music here in front of Haydn. Mozart’s Zauberflöte is also said to have had one of its first performances here.
- Currently serves as host to numerous concerts, functions and grand receptions.

Bröckemännche (Little Bridge Man)
- Located Rheinpromenade underneath the Kennedy Bridge, Bonn, D-53111, Germany, DE
- Used to be on the Rhine Bridge whose initial beneficiaries were to be the residents of Beuel. However, they weren’t willing to raise the large amount of cash required to finance it which made the other Bonn residents so angry that they erected the ‘Little Bridge Man’ on the bridge just after it opened.
- It was moved to the promenade under the bridge after the bridge was destroyed in 1945.
- The statue’s unclothed rear still faces the Beuel side of the river which provides a light moment for both the local residents (who have since resolved their differences) and passer-bys.

Hochkreuz
- Kerb cross that was put up as a monument for penitence in the 14th century.
- Located in Godesberger Allee, Bonn, D-53175, Germany, DE
- Used to be one of the most outstanding landmarks on the route from Cologne to Koblenz.
- Renovated and made bigger in the 19th century in keeping with the New Gothic style.
- Only a replica exists on site today because original was heavily damaged by passing traffic. The original piece has found a new home in Rheinisches Landesmuseum.

Marktbrunnen (Market Fountain)
- Location: Markt, Bonn, D-53111, Germany, DE (right in the centre of the Marktplatz)
- Built by Bonn residents in the 18th century in honor of Elector Max Friedrich.
- Water cascades added over two egg-shaped basins to enlarge the Trachyt Obelisk, which was highlighted with golden decorations. An inscription in German and Latin honours the elector.
