The hotel was clean including my room. The staff were courteous and helpful when they were present.
Negative:
The hotel is in faraway Bad Neuenahr, not suited for a businessman whowants to go to the big city, in my case to Koln for the Anuga. The staff were not always around so at night there would be no one at the front desk. The hotel does not offer dinner; if you arrive late at night hungry, you will stay hungry up to the morning because nearby restaurants close early.

The entire hotel appeared to have been recently decorated and was very clean. The breakfast was very good. Several restaurants are in easy walking distance.

Very creaky bed in Room 8..!!

Receptionist spoke little English but was very helpful, courteous and patient as I struggled through the phrase book! The owner/manager does speak English. All staff were excellent. Although the hotel is opposite the railway station it was very quiet in the room which was clean and comfortable. It’s a 1-2 minute walk to the centre. Good continental breakfast included in price. Room key doubles as a key for the hotel front door so late nights no problem.We didn’t use the bicycle hire but saw several people going out on hired bikes which seemed to be of good quality.
Negative:
Limited parking on site if you’re in a car. Although, as we were on motorbikes we managed to find a space. There is public parking nearby.

Proximity to town and railway station, huge car parking opposite. They made the effort to give multiple single rooms adjacent even if they were not singles to ensure we were together. It is also very close to the Nurnburgring, as we found out from the Red Bull Advance site construction team who stayed there. And who were perfectly charming in any one of 5 languages

The hotel is situated opposite the station which made it very convenient to explore the area. There is a good selection of places to eat of an evening within a five minute walk. The owners and staff were very friendly and the room was spacious. The buffet breakfast had a good selection and like the rest of the hotel the breakfast room was decorated very tastefully. This is an hotel that I would visit again and recommend to friends. The one draw back would be the stairs if you were not very good on your feet.

Excellent breakfast and very accommodating staff, the room was clean and well proportioned with nice decorations………. The whole place had a nice atmosphere.

It would have been nice to have a bar where drinks and snacks could have been purchased, whilst there was a facility for picking up drinks to take to your room, it would have been nice to have a proper bar service. However, this would not stop us from using the hotel again

Das Zimmer, was wir letztendlich bekamen war kein Vergleich zum eigentlichen geplanten Raum. Es war wesentlich schöner und moderner. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig. Die Lage – zwischen Bahnhof und Fußgängerzone – sehr gut.
Negative:
Das eigentlich zugewiesene Zimmer war sehr spatanisch und einfach eingerichtet. Wäre dieses Zimmer es letztendlich geworden, hätte es unseren Eindruck getrübt.
